A single gold coated nozzle. Due to the gold layer, the nozzle can be grounded, which leads to more stable and stronger ionization . The nozzle has 85 holes of 2 μm in diameter, making it suitable for flow rates of approximately 1 ml/min. The nozzle chip is mounted inside a luer lock polypropylene adapter. The nozzle can be used for positive ionization with most standard solvent mixtures such as: water, methanol/water (%water ≥ 25), ethanol/water (%water ≥ 25), acetonitrile. Use the syringe holder to prevent the nozzle from detaching, always wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when spraying dangerous solvents. For the syringe we recommend the HSW luer lock syringe or the BD Plastipak 1 mL.
